Advancing Health Equity in Wisconsin

Healthy Metric is working to eliminate health disparities in Wisconsin through
collaboration, measurement, and interventions

How do you make a metric healthy?

Metrics will be “healthier” if the measurement process recognizes that not everyone experiences health the same way. Funded by the Wisconsin Partnership Program and Advancing a Healthier Wisconsin Endowment, our goal is to improve health metrics by:

  • Understanding how different groups of Wisconsinites are experiencing health, rather than putting all Wisconsinites into a single group
  • Catalyzing change and implementing interventions to reduce health disparities in partnership with Wisconsin health systems
  • Working with academic organizations in Wisconsin to create new evidence-based strategies to reduce disparities
